Leamington pupils were fantastic in their class presentation when they presented to parents and carers.
It was daunting to begin with and a few pupils got the giggles when 12 adults walked in!
The presentation began with a warm welcome and the pupils then shared what they have been learning in English and maths – they shared work they had produced and facts they have learnt.
The pupils then talked about what they did in topic last term. All the pupils held up their transport pictures and read a few sentences which they had written themselves.
Next to Art and a challenge for all was to create a chair or seat using marshmallows and spaghetti – the pupils worked with an adult or teacher to create a chair. We had some very competitive families! Fantastic effort by all.
Before the adults said goodbye, it was time to share the English and Maths books with a grown up, this was a great way for parents/carers to review their child’s progress.
Well done to all and thank you for visiting Leamington class.
