Welcome to GANF

Grantham Additional Needs Fellowship (GANF) is a specialist school for pupils between the ages of 3 and 19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs. Our pupils’ needs are wide ranging; many are on the autistic spectrum, with others having ADHD and varying degrees of developmental delay, and some with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

Our Sandon Campus is based on Sandon Close in Grantham, NG31 9AX. It has recently undergone some redevelopment and refurbishment. The campus now homes a hydrotherapy pool and changing suites, classrooms and therapy spaces to ensure teaching and support staff can provide bespoke and meaningful learning and development opportunities. Sandon is open to pupils 8.50am to 3.10pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Our Ambergate Campus is based off Dysart Road in Grantham, NG31 7LP. It has undergone significant redevelopment and refurbishment as part of the Lincolnshire’s Special Schools Project. Part of this work included a new purpose built two storey building, now home to spacious classrooms and life-skills teaching and therapy spaces. The campus has subject specialist rooms which support the curriculum offer of Art and Design, Science, Computing, Food Technology and Design Technology. Ambergate is open to pupils 8.50am to 3.20pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

GANF also has a large Forest School off site which supports our desire to provide enriched learning opportunities in the natural environment.

Our mission statement is:
“Every second to be Valuable, Inspiring, Personalised”.

At GANF we are constantly striving to improve the lives of our pupils through their environment and experiences.

The curriculum is tailored to ensure that pupils develop their functional use of literacy/communication and numeracy in all aspects of their daily lives. Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development is a thread that binds all experiences that our pupils learn from and encounter.

We hope you can find all the information you need on our website – if not, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Thank you for showing an interest.

With warmest regards,

Kyna Adkins
Interim Headteacher
